If you don't like it, click elsewhere. In no way do I advocate the mutilation of animals. Nonetheless, I am fascinated by mutilated animals. That fascination is reflected in these pages. I will make no apologies, nor will I attempt to disguise this fascination as art or activism.

Usually, I am more interested in the biology of roadkill, but I was drawn to the aesthetic qualities of this specimen on the campus of the University of Sydney.
During a recent bountiful road trip, it occurred to me that I have been neglecting this most favored hobby of mine. I thought it would be a good idea to explore a fresh, more interactive venue. For the benefit of thoroughness, I will be updating this blog with select archive material, so I apologize in advance for any redundancy you may suffer. I also strongly encourage reader submissions.
