It took me a long time to figure out just what had happened here. I imagined the back half of this deer wedged under some bumper driving down A1A until I realized this deer was probably not road kill at all but more likely the victim of poaching. Still, I was once more amazed by the veritable rainbow of color that exists inside ungulates. Lucky this website is not smell-o-rama enabled.
